How it works

01

Browse the template library

Open the dashboard and explore 170 pre-configured templates organized by category -- frameworks, databases, CMS, analytics, devtools, and more.

02

Click "Deploy" on any template

Found what you need? One click. No Dockerfile, no docker-compose.yml, no configuration files to write.

03

sh0 pulls the image and configures everything

Volumes are mapped, environment variables are pre-filled with sane defaults, resource limits are set, and networking is configured automatically.

Your app is live in under 60 seconds

Everything you need

170 pre-configured templates

Frameworks, databases, CMS, analytics, devtools, communication -- every popular self-hosted app ready to deploy.

One-click deploy

No Dockerfiles, no compose files, no CLI commands. Select a template and click Deploy. That's the entire workflow.

Automatic volume mapping

Every template includes correct volume mappings so your data persists across restarts and updates. No manual configuration.

Environment variable defaults

Templates ship with sensible default environment variables. Review and customize before deploy, or just go with the defaults.

Resource limits pre-set

CPU and memory limits are configured per template based on real-world usage. No more guessing how much RAM PostgreSQL needs.

Regular template updates

Templates are maintained and updated with new versions, security patches, and improved defaults. Always deploy the latest.

The old way

  • x Search Docker Hub for hours
  • x Read documentation per image
  • x Write docker-compose.yml manually
  • x Figure out volume mappings
  • x Set environment variables by trial and error
  • x Debug networking issues

The sh0 way

  • Browse curated library
  • Click deploy
  • Volumes auto-mapped
  • Env vars pre-filled
  • Networking automatic
  • Live in 60 seconds

Questions & answers

How many templates are available? +
170 templates at launch, covering frameworks (Next.js, Laravel, Django, etc.), databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis), CMS (WordPress, Ghost, Strapi), analytics (Plausible, Umami), devtools (Gitea, n8n, Portainer), and communication (Mattermost, Rocket.Chat). We add new templates regularly.
Can I customize a template after deploying? +
Absolutely. Templates are starting points. After deployment, you can modify environment variables, change resource limits, add custom domains, adjust volume mappings, and configure everything exactly as you need.
Are templates kept up to date? +
Yes. We regularly update templates with new image versions, security patches, and improved default configurations. You can redeploy with the latest template version at any time.
Can I request new templates? +
Yes. If you need a template that doesn't exist yet, submit a request through the dashboard or contact us. Popular requests are prioritized and typically added within a week.
Do templates work on the Free plan? +
Yes. All 170 templates are available on every plan, including Free. The only difference between plans is resource limits (RAM, storage) and advanced features like external backups.
Can I deploy from my own Docker image instead? +
Of course. Templates are a convenience, not a constraint. You can deploy any Docker image from Docker Hub, GitHub Container Registry, or any private registry. Templates and custom images coexist perfectly.
